We are so honoured to have been nominated for the Not-for Profit of the Year Award by our community.  A sincere Thank You to all our dedicated volunteers and supporters...we couldn't have accomplished this recognition of excellence without you!

We won a $5000 finalist prize in the Aviva Community Fund!  Thanks for your support in voting us into the top 40 organizations from across Canada!

Mrs. Margaret Black is a quite the amazing grade 4/5 public school teacher.  Not only does she support and volunteer her time as a driver for several wildlife centres, she incorporates wildlife conservation and protection lessons in her classroom.

WWS is partnered with Camp Kawartha, an outdoor educational camp whose focus is on conservation and environmental protection.  With their help, we successfully released our two orphaned otters back into the wild.  Read Shawna's story as she became "Auntie" to Loni and Burt.
